Afterglow

3 a.m. I guess it is the time for me to write something again.

The grand finale of the first arc in my roleplaying game was the conclusion of a twelve week journey that has led up to this point.

It is at this point I can feel a sense of relief and genuine joy runs through my body like cocaine through the veins of an addict, truly intoxicating.

It is now over, the journey that took the players across the global to stop an inevitable disaster. They have ultimately failed, only to witness the beginning of a new dark age as an international thermonuclear war devastated the world - In the frozen wasteland of Ross Island, only the icy antarctic wind can hear their lament.

The point I'm trying to make is that I am truly glad that I was blessed with a group of enthusastic, if not occasionally headache inducing players. A brilliant Co-GM that ran the game flawlessly and weaved many stories from thin air, as in the last few weeks I was often busy with university related work ( Horray for Honours ).

On anunrelated note, watching your players getting teary-eyed really is quite satisfying in a bizzare way. It is like watching a long running plan ultimately coming to its fruitition.

Reboot

Another reboot of this blog. I am not sure how long I will keep it running, hopefully this time I can keep it alive long enough for me to host rants and radical musings.

So make yourselves comfortable. So stay a while and listen, the curtains has just been lifted, and the show starts now.
